SCYTHE SCNJ-1000P Size..

I just recently upgraded my thermaltake armor case with the 25cm fan sidepanel, and I was gonna get a new CPU HSF. I was considering getting the SCNJ-1000P. Does anyone know if this will fit?

SCNJ-1000P Height - 150MM
A2400 250mm Fan Height - 30MM
Width of case - 224MM

224-150-30 = 44MM headroom but im still worried since the mobo has some height and the hsf starts a bit above the mobo =x. has anyone had any experiances with this?

the fan is 30mm thick, the ninja is 150mm giving you 180, the case is 220mm wide, but thats on the outside, the mobo prolly sits about 10 mm off the case wall, give about another 10mm for case thickness, (being generous), you should have between 10 and 20 mm to spare would be my estimate

I think you have a mistake there. The scythe ninja's fan sits on the side, not ontop of the HSF. it doesn't have to do anything with the height. It has to do with the width.

the fan i included was the fan he was talking about on his side window, i gave no calculation for the heatsink fan because it IS on the side.

thats 2 different heatsinks though? but im sure they both will unless you have a fan mounted right across from the cpu on the door.
its bit cheaper and in stock here also

yeah.. I was talking about the 250mm attached to my case.

Well, I ordered it... and it fit fine, theres roughly half a pinky left of space lol, looks like mounting on the fan will be impossible =X maybe i can direct airflow through the thing some other way.
