Bought the fastest ones I could find for phone and tablet. Speeds are pretty close to the internal storage.

I'm not sure if 90 MBps is really getting you much of anything vs say 40MBps. What you're storing on there is going to be primarily media. All the stuff that requires fast access time should be kept on primary storage. About the only thing you're really getting from a faster card is faster upload/download to and from a PC. But how often do you really do that, and how time sensitive is it really? I dont see a much of a difference in a 5 minute copy job vs a 10 minute copy job. I'm not going to sit there watching that progress bar move for 5 minutes. I've seen people do that though so I guess if you do that sort of thing then yes you want the fastest possible card.

I personally like to keep pictures on my SD card, and they load like crap in a gallery app unless the SD card is top notch. Even for basic stuff speed helps.

Samsung is the best. That is a good deal on a good card.

I got quoted $50 or $60 for a fast San Disk SD card (90 up and down). But it was a 128 GB stick. I'm guessing it is last years model. I guess speed and firmware can improve on these things year to year so the new stuff is probably technically faster. But probably not by much.

I still find it highly ironic, Samsung is one of the big makers of SD cards...

...the use of which no longer possible with their own flagship mobile devices. :/

Would that be sufficient for this netbook I bought for $129 last week? I only intend to use it as a travel netbook so it might be used 3-4 weeks a year?

Will use it mostly to store applications, data, media (movies) and probably pictures off-loaded from digital camera.

Priorities listed in order:
1) Reliability.
2) Value.
3) Speed.

The 200gb sandisk card I received from the LGV10 promo is not that fast. I put it in my Tab pro 8.4 and left the 128gb on the phone. I need to do more tests.

I would maybe want a little more storage like 128Gb. I have had a very good experience with this card:

Went with sandisk extreme. 64gb for $35. Fealty it was the best compromise for me.

Actually went ahead and bit on a new 64GB PRO+ for $30 directly from Samsung today with free ship. Already have the standard PRO but thought give this a try now.

Anything truly push you to that Sandisk card? You already had the link for the Best Buy sale on the Samsung. Sure they both have the 90MB/s read, but the Samsung also has the 90MB/s write, where looks like the Sandisk is limited at 40MB/s.

That's a good price for a fast card. Too bad it's only 64GB. I already have a bunch of 64GB cards. I need to upgrade to 128GB or 200GB cards.
