SDR and DDR ram compatibiltiy

Heya, I got old MSI KM2M Combo with VIA VT8235 chipset, and it has two SDR and two DDR slots. I wonder will both SDR and DDR work good together or should i use just DDR? If i use slower SDR will it downclocks faster DDR?

You can only use either SDR OR DDR, not both simultaneously!!!
