I have 2 rebate forms from the purchase:
1 for $40.00 from Best Buy requires the rebate form and receipt.
1 for $40.oo from Seagate requires the rebate form, original UPC, and the receipt.

If you are looking at it on the web it only shows 1 of the 2.

Used the coupon with no problem. The clerk read it over to make sure it applied to the purchase and then scanned it. Even offered me a reward zone card for small businesses for free!

The store I was at was also giving away free 8 week subscriptions to Sports Illustrated or Entertainment Weekly. Not that I'll read either but I signed up anyway. heh. Jsut have to cancel online tomorrow.

Just did this today. Would not have had a single question raised if I only wanted this hard drive. As it is, I got this plus the RAM, and after a bunch of waiting she applied the same coupon to both the RAM and the Hard drive (she seemed really inexperienced, I wouldn't expect this to work for you using only a single coupon).

Great deal. Now I've got 3 x 160 GB seagate's in my case. I guess I should stop now.

Worked for me! Took the coupon without a hitch, total rang up as 104.99. -$80 that's $24.99! Cheaper than a nice pair of jeans! Great deal.

Worked in Annapolis, MD for me without a problem. I think I also met another Hot Deals member cause some fat guy with a manilla folder full of coupons and weekly deals asked me where I found my drive (I was walking with one in hand, they were kinda hidden in this store) and when I pointed him in the right direction he asked if I wanted a 20 dollar off coupon (from the folder) and when I told him I already printed one he gave me this intrigued look.

Worked in Oxford Valley, PA. The assistant manager tried to reject it saying that it was only good when coupled with the purchase of a PC, but I asked him to show me where it says that on the coupon or the web page. He gave up and gave me the discount.

Printed the email, the coupon, and also the Best Buy hosted links. But the clerk in Montgomeryville PA took the coupon with a smile. No trouble at all. Now I'm home and thinking that maybe I should have bought more of these drives. Thanks OP!

NP with the coupon at the BB in Littleon, CO (Park Meadows Store)...the drives were sold-out on the shelf ofcourse, but I asked where they were (I had called 1 hr earlier and they said they had 35 of them), sure enough a whole stash up on a high shelf...guy got one for me...I figured he would get 5-10 of them to restock the shelf, but no, just one for me, so I guess they want all the others to ask for it too...

Coupon was no problem...darn cheap drive...heck the batteries my wife threw on the counter when I was checking out will end up being like 1/4 of the cost of the whole drive..

Woot, just bought one tonight with the coupon, no problem and no question asked. Total cost = $20 AR plus sales taxes. I will return the WD because the Seagate has 5 years warranty.

BTW, the Seagate drives had two manufactured locations: China and Thailand. Which is better?

The rebates wont if they are from the same person/address obviously........ You can use the coupon as many times as you want, assuming you printed more than 1 out and do different transactions.....

Picked one up at the Tyson's Corner VA store. Lots on the shelf and the coupon scanned right in. Rebates printed out, too. Effortless.

$139 - 10 IR - 20 Coupon - 40 rewards bucks = $65.27 with tax.

Thanks for the coupon. It worked without any problems at the Gilroy, CA BB this morning for me. The young girl cashier didn't give any weird looks about the coupon and it was pretty fast at checking out. Two rebates were printed out at the register as well in $40 denominations. The total came out to be $108.24.

Does anybody know if the coupon works at the BB in San Jose?

In my area BB the deal is $69.99 after instant rebates. They took the $20 off coupon which made it $49.99 + tax - $40 Seagate rebate = 9.99+tax on $49.99.

Even a better deal!! I'm buying one or two more tomorrow!!

No questions asked at the store on Wisconsin Ave. near DC. Walked up, scan, scan, print and away I go.

I went in all prepared with a printout of the first page of the email, etc., and they actually took the coupon like they were suppose to...I was shocked .

Be careful. I took mine back after reading the fine print on the rebate from the website:

"In-store rebates are valid on in-store purchases only. BestBuy.com rebates are valid with online purchases only."

I got the same price as you did in Clearwater, FL store, and no "in-store" rebate printed at the register
