Dell has the 80GB Barracuda ATA IV Internal EIDE Ultra ATA/100 7200RPM Hard Drive on their site for $89.44/shipped next day air. 10% discount and shipping automatically taken out at checkout. Seems like a great deal on a great drive to me!

It worked for me by just checking out, but it seems that some people need the 10% coupon code. Search *obesepurse* for the code.

I have the 40GB Barracuda IV model and it's as quiet as can be. It just so happened my IBM drive crapped the bed last night and I need a new one quick. I highly recommend them.

Works for me now. I think you have to go in from dell.com, find the item, add it in the car for the coupon and free shipping to work.

It gave me the free shipping when I went in to the site through the front page. The 10% code is...elsewhere. Worked like a charm.

This drive is not only ultra fast, but also the quietest around. $100+ on Pricewatch for bare drives. This should be retail.

Man, I've got to stop buying stuff from Dell... I just received a WD 120GB drive for ~$155.00 from them this week! Sheesh!! This will be the third hard drive (2 80's and 1 120) and 2 burners (2 Lite-On CD-RW's, a 40X and a 48X)... I can't keep hiding this stuff from the woman forever!

Super Deal ? Thanks! I?ve been mulling over the HD deals the last couple of weeks and I really wanted to avoid the ?after rebate? deals.
I went in through the free shipping link on the front page. After adding the drive and going to checkout, it showed half price shipping. Almost chickened out and clicked regular ground but I went ahead and clicked Next Business Day and when I got to the final order screen?it showed Next Business Day for $0.00.. that?s a 19.00 savings!! Hopefully the drive will get here tomorrow so I can build my system this weekend.
