Seagate 9.1GB Fiber Channel HDs for $86.51

It kinda seems too good to be true. A Seagate 10K 9.1GB fiber channel drive for $86 bucks? The page doesn't say much and I've emailed the sales rep I usually deal with at CDW, but she hasn't gotten back to me yet. I checked the Seagate site and I could find the drive, but with EXACTLY the same manuf. part# listed on the page. The last two parts they show (BSTK-BST) don't look like they are actually part of the manuf. part#.

Too bad fiber channel adapter cards are so expensive, or I'd buy one. Hopefully this is useful to someone out there.

Barebottoms, those are 7200 rpm. The one stainlesssteelrat found are 10k!

Looked up the part and it is a 10K drive but the seek time is 8.2ms. Not that fast for a 10k drive.

That's because it's like a second gen(half heighT).. Seagate is up to 4th.

Does it come with cable? Do we need a converter?
I checked their web site. Win9x are not supported.

The cables for the card are the killers on the wallet. And no the cards from almost all of the vendors don't include the cables!!
