Exactly! And who amongst us has not received the mysterious email from paypal notifying us that they're taking money out of our account, citing some obscure portion of the 500 page "terms of use" that neither we nor any of their customer service email "obfuscation representatives" can actually find.

In my experience, I would rather do my banking over the internet on an unpatched version of Win98 running IE 3.0 than do business with paypal.

Can somebody give me a quick schooling on Google checkout? I see the 20 off 50 at buy.com, 10 off 30 elsewhere and no deals at other places. Is that the way it works? Does each merchant pick their own discount level sitewide, does each merchant pick different levels for different items or does Google mandate that all sites give a discount?

take sata out of the equation unless you need it for the small cables because it doesn't have a str of over 100MB/s so it won't saturate a ata100/133 connection. the 7200.10 is the newest drive and so far the best for seagate in their consumer line. the perpendicular recording makes it one of the fastest 7200rpm hdds around. very good drive.
