7200 RPM...I'm kinda suprised.
I thought it'd be a Green 5400 RPM drive.
hehe...
one time I was working with a guy who was reselling cell phones (lots of them)... the shipper messed up and didn't send him enough manuals to go with the phones. I suggested simply putting a sticker on them tauting them as "green" and providing a link to an online PFF of the manual
He didn't though... a real shame, because I bet they would have sold well.
Anyways, my question is... Are 5400 actually more efficient (that is, work done / power consumption). If they are 70% the speed, then they must be less than 70% the power consumption to be green. Otherwise they are actually worse for the environment (and your pocket book).
So, anyone knows?
