samsung's obviously quieter and though the 7200.9 isn't in the review, i doubt it will be too much ahead of the 7200.8 or 7200.7.
the samsung and seagate are around the same temps so no winner there.
it really matters on what you're doing to determine performance. in file unzipping/copying, one is better at unzipping/copying 300 1mb files and the other is better at 1 300mb file. so it depends on if you deal with large files or not.
otherwise, the Seagate is the best gaming drive as far, as level loading goes, and the samsung is better in most other fields.
I trust Anandtech more than any other review site. The only issue I have this time is that they also do not have a review for the P120 Spinpoint, and are using a P80 with the less dense platters for their review. The P120 has gotten great reviews for performance, to add to a drive which was already the leader in heat and noise.
