Not flaming you or this thread but Sean Hannity gets my vote as the rudest television interviewer I've ever seen. If his viewpoint differs from the person he is interviewing he simply cuts them off, badgers them and keeps yapping until Colmes says they've run out of time. Hannity epitomizes the right wing shove it down your throat philosophy of Fox News. Fair and balanced as long as you like Bush and the neocons.

Deliver us from Hannity and Fox News!

Personally this is a cold deal as I would toss this book in the trash if someone gave it to me for free. Newsmax and Hannity are some of the worst examples of the far right-wing garbage that has been spreading around the country for years. I consider myself a moderate and I find it pretty offensive that people with so little actual knowledge or ability to discuss an issue are as popular as Hannity.

If you get this book, please take the time to research the support for his arguments as you read. It'll take you 5 seconds on google to realize how he's twisted things.

Thanks, I just got in on this. I was going to buy the book at Sam's today for about $16, so you saved me $10 (News Max charged $5.00 for shipping).

Don't forget the free brain-wash with every purchase.

If you miss out on the deal, it's Bill Clinton's fault.

.99 CENTS?!!!

I guess that's cheaper than couple of rolls of toilet paper.

What is happening to this country? Do we have our own Taliban running things now?

"Blah...blah...blah...Socialism...blah...blah...blah...Bill Clinton...blah...blah...blah...Liberals...blah...blah...blah..."

Who is Sean Hannity? He is an ideologue employed by Fox News to speak, a lot, about many things, and veru loudly.

What is the effect of watching Fox News?

In a series of polls from May through September, the researchers discovered that large minorities of Americans entertained some highly fanciful beliefs about the facts of the Iraqi war. Fully 48 percent of Americans believed that the United States had uncovered evidence demonstrating a close working relationship between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda. Another 22 percent thought that we had found the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. And 25 percent said that most people in other countries had backed the U.S. war against Saddam Hussein. Sixty percent of all respondents entertained at least one of these bits of dubious knowledge; 8 percent believed all three.

For each of the three misperceptions, the study found enormous differences between the viewers of Fox, who held the most misperceptions, and NPR/PBS, who held the fewest by far. Eighty percent of Fox viewers were found to hold at least one misperception, compared to 23 percent of NPR/PBS consumers. All the other media fell in between.

This is the full study.

Pointless news crawls up 37 per cent... Do Democrats cause cancer? Find out at foxnews.com... Rupert Murdoch: Terrific dancer... Dow down 5,000 points... Study: 92 per cent of Democrats are gay... JFK posthumously joins Republican Party... Oil slicks found to keep seals young, supple...

It's not just liberal whackos any more, champ. A lot of people (including me) who initially supported our current president are getting sick of the lies, the incompetence, the erosion of our civil liberties and a pointless war that has done nothing but make his friends richer.

The kind of brainless sheep who listen to Sean Hannity should probably just send their 99 cents directly to Haliburton, and not bother with the middleman.

Wow. Its amazing what people will believe simply because its written on the internet. Forget the facts.. if its in print then its truth. Good job on posting liberal sources to bash Fox news and keep the war going back and forth. If I were to take 5 minutes to do a google search I could quote 5 places that counter your links, but its not worth my time cause you will continue to believe what you have heard at starbucks.

Fellow Hot Deal posters:

This is the hot deals forum. I posted a deal on a book (far cheaper than it's retail price, so it qualifies, right?) I made great care to limit my post to the deal - I did not and AM not endorsing or discouraging it. This post s for information only - if you want the book and this post saves you money - that is what I intended. If you don't want this book that is fine too, but please try to contain your opinions and post them in the other appropriate forums created for such debate.

Thank you.

Thanks. I like the way you repeated all my quotes. Really good job there. Spread the word and all.

I love the way representatives of the US Taliban can try to dismiss everything by saying their favourite mantra over and over: "LIBERAL LIBERAL LIBERAL".

Let's see, what sources did I use?

I used both PIPA and the Washington Post. PIPA is a joint program of the Center on Policy Attitudes (COPA) and the Center for International and Security Studies at Maryland (CISSM), and along with the Washington Post is basically a house organ for the CIA and the US intelligence establishment.

Disinfopedia and Alternet. Many USians would describe them as "Liberal", but I am not a USian, so my definition of "Liberal" and yours probably differ a great deal. "Liberals" created the British Empire - which in its heyday made the current weak US hegemony look like an amateurish cartoon empire. What does that say about "Liberals"?

Finally, I quoted The Simpsons, also a Murdoch/Fox product. Yes, The Simpsons is definitely a LIBERAL PLOT, especially that damn Jewish clown.

Finally, I don't drink coffee, and have no interest in ever going in one of these "Starbucks" you mention. But I hear they offer wireless internet access, so maybe if you did go in you might find some facts from Google to back up your sad attempt at refutation, instead of vague promises and ad hominem attacks. But then again I think ad hominem attacking is the only real rhetorical strategy that people can learn from Fox News.

Great deal! Keep posting things like this. I hate Hannity's guts, especially because his name is Sean too. He sucks @ss, but it is TRULY a great deal if you're a neocon. Plus, my fellow liberal satanic, socialist, etc. etc. made me laugh hard. So, thank you.
