Lack of Google search string knowledge likely. I use it but forum search is definitely more convenient.

Given how often this issue has reared its head; what could they have that is more pressing.

Every time they touch something to tweak; something else breaks.

The IT guys broke the overall system when they switched over to the cloud. Was such a switch over needed??? They got the system back on line, but the search became broken.

You would think professionally that they would fix what they broke.

Use Google Advanced Search. Works great when there is no search option on a forum or website.
