Sears 10% off everything

Sears has their periodic 10% off everything on Thurs Febb 7 - Sat Feb. 9. They sent me an email about it but their web site doesn't mention it yet. This is where I bought my 65" Mits HDTV last year. Highly recommended if you have a big purchase in mind. You do need a Sears charge card.

Just as backup, this is how I got my Mitsu 65" as well. However, I did not need to use the Sears card. They offered 12 months no interest if I used one. Also try pricematching...

Thanks! this is good. i also used this the last time to "price match" a t.v. i had purchased less than a month previously. i got 10% ($78) credited back to my sears card just for going back to the store with my receipt!

That would be my question as well... There is always 10% off when you first applied for the Sears card. Can we get that and the additional 10% promo at the same time? Anybody tried or asked?

And how often do they run this promo in Sears? I remember one in December... Is it something happens in a couple of months or longer than that... We are looking to buy some appliances (fridge, w/d) for our new house that we will move in like June/July. I guess it's early to buy them yet, but if this is a rare promo I may go for it...

sears only give you 10$ off the purchase price for the first purchase with a new sears card. you might not even get that now that they have this 10% off.

This is great for my family. My Dad was an employee at the Sears Tower for many years and has a lifetime 10% discount on anything in the store at any time. So when they have these 10% sales we get 20% w00t.

I've also worked the lifetime discount when pricematching items

But I am a little confused about the first time promotion after browsing the above posts. It seems that the first time user with a Sears card can get a 10% or $10 off even if there is no other promotion posted. If this is true, can a first time user get 20% off this time?

I went by Sears yesterday, and the signs all said 10% off with your Sears Card only.

Also, something that could affect our ability to pricematch is their new policy on which internet sites they accept for pricematch. Here is the text:

If you find a lower price on an identical branded item currently available for sale at another local retail store, Sears will match that price. Just tell your sales associate at the time of, or within 30 days after, your purchase.

If you find a lower price (including shipping, handling and delivery) on an identical branded item currently available for sale and delivery in your area from an established online retailer (see list below), Sears will match that total price at the time of, or within 30 days after, your purchase.
