Sears Jvc 7 disk dvd changer 129.97

I work at sears so i know when all the good deals come from close outs. Well today the jvc 7 disk dvd changer believe the fa900bk was name. I picked one up myself you cant beat it for 129.97. Btw they are regularly 280 it says. It says it supports all the formats so i have no complaints. Also we have the kenwood 600 watt home theatre with 5 disk dvd and vhs regularly for 750 down to 399.97 as a close out.

ya it works pretty good ive been using it. Seems no one ever takes any interest in any of my topics. Seems like a hot deal to me you dont have to worry about any pm or ar. Just straight paying for what you get.

I did little bit homework and found this one is a good deal. I am not sure if this is Sears local sale or national event. I would like to have one if there is one at this price in Houston. Thanks for the good post. I don't like people here being negative and not present fact.

I had this DVD changer for a while. It was really sweet, the 7 disc option was pretty cool too. It allows you to switch out discs while you have one playing. It played just about every DVD, CD, and MP3 format and was progressive scan. It has DD and DTS decoding as well. The only thing I can remember being wrong with it is that you couldn't switch discs using the remote. This is an awesome deal on it. I would have kept mine if I hadn't received a free DVD player a week later, but even that was a tough choice.

well you can call sears and give them this number and see if they have any more. The numbers are div 57 and stock number 57552. Just go up there and ask them for this or call them. I believe its nationwide though.

my panasonic F65 5-disc region 1 dvd player has decided that it won't play any of my DVD's anymore after I played a few VCD's. It keeps telling me that the DVD I put in has the wrong region coding. Anyone know if there's a way to reset it so it will be able to read DVD again?

This is a good deal. I purchased one of this in February from bestbuy when there was a $80 rebate. I am very happy about this dvd player. My kids put some of their favorite dvds in it and just select which one to play while no need to move my B*tt anymore. It allows to adjust the picture characters (gamma/brightness/contrast/color/tint etc) before being unputed to the TV or receiver whatsoever.

Yes YOU CAN! switch dvds using teh remote I have had it for about a year now got it from 6th ave for 130 shipped it is the only dvd player of 6 in my hosue that palys all medias including DVD-R princos

Yea I got on the deal last time bestbuy had the lower instore price + online rebate, plus did a nice bvg too, dont ask me what the final price i got it for

And yes, you definitly can change the disk with the remote, press disk select button and the number. I think those are the button names.


The problem I have with this is, I cant get to the speaker menu for some reason, I have 4.1 speakers, I need to disable the center speaker, and I cant get on that menu =/

have to call up the jvc customer service sometime this week or so

You can try to reset the dvd player to the default setting. Sometimes ago mine menu set-up setting also messed up for no reason and I had to reset the setting. You can download the precedure from jvc.com. sorry i don't have the link.

Maybe it was that it just didn't have a "next disc" button that I was thinking then, anyway, this is great DVD player at a great price.

I normally control my speaker operations through my A/V receiver instead of using the speaker options on the DVD player itself... not sure if that will work for your situation...

This is a great DVD player. Got mine about a year and a half ago for $200 from ECO$T.com...only complaint that I would have is that is not MP3 friendly...if you play an MP3 Cd, you can't program any tracks or shuffle (it only play the songs in the order that they are on the CD - not that big a deal since I play most of my mp3 from my PC now anyway)...
