I bought two boxes of this same detergent back in January and I'm half way into the second box. This stuff has left everything much softer and cleaner then any of the liquids I've used. I start the washer and only use one scoop of detergent and add clothes once the washers got about 1/3 of water and I don't get any powder residue.

.67cents per pound after tax and coupon plus an extra 2% with bing so that means .62cents per mean pound.

I am gonna look at the B&M grocery prices.

There's a 12lb box for $12.99, that isn't labeled "w/ stain fighting formula". It's a bit more expensive than the one linked by the OP.

according to amazon, Charlie's Soap Powder is the best stuff to use when doing laundry. you use one tablespoon for a full wash load, link.

Well the Sears stuff is approx $55 to get the best deal with Bing and the coupon.This means 900 loads supposidly at 180 loads per box.

Charlies is at $15 and 80 loads per bag. 4 bags per $60 means 320 loads.

Charlies might be good but it costs 3 times as much.

I'll stick with the Sears deal unless the grocery B&M is cheaper. Havent gone shopping yet.

I have heard about charlies but never seen it anywhere.
If you can really clean with only a tablespoon then it might be the better deal.

I just wish they made something that did all laundry, like warm water clothes and cold water woolite stuff in one bottle or drum even
