How close are you to Seattle? There's a great place in Ballard called Brouwer's Cafe. Their menu of beer and spirits is very extensive, and the staff is pretty knowledgeable in my experience.
The only real drawback to the place is that it's open seating all the time, which means you can be fighting for a table during peak hours.
They sell Manny's pale ale down here at a pool hall in Portland. One of my buddies loves it. Every time he orders it, I think he's asking for a mayonnaise pale ale, and the thought of what a revolting combination that would be puts me off for a minute. It is pretty good though. Kilt Lifter is great; haven't had anything else by Pike's Place so I can't comment on their other offerings.
