Theres no way Florida will be ranked #2 in the Coaches and that other BCS Human poll.

I predict #2 in 1, #3 in the other. #3 in the computers.

Which means Michigan v OSU.

Yay the downfall of the BCS is one step closer.... Although I do think Michigan is the #2 team in the land.

That I'll agree too. No argument.

@Wreckem- I think UM is the #2 two in the country as well.

As a gator fan I would gladly see Michigan play for the NC if it means an end to the BCS.

I have no idea what season you watched.

Michigan does not even have a valid arguement for the National Title.

I seriously doubt it. I think its highly unlikely Florida will take #2 in both human polls, which is what they would have to do to be #2 in the BCS.

Michigan is #2, and will stay #2 in the computers. I just dont see Florida jumping to #2 in both human polls. That game vs a Division II team late in November will be a factor. You just dont play sh!t out of conference teams late in the season, voters will forgive a early season game vs a division IAA or division II team but not late. Just like they tend to typically forgive an early season loss over a late season loss.

Other than they will certainly be #2 in the AP. And will be #2 in the computers, one says yeah they do have valid argument.

If Florida had played a Division IA(not AA), and not a Division II team late in November we wouldnt be having this conversation. Not only that Florida's out of conference schedule was extremely weak, probably the weakest among elite programs.

Schedule wise I don't know why it's even a concern...did you look at the breakdown during the UF-ARK game? Michigan has played 2 ranked teams all season (one of them being severly overrated = Notre Dame). I'm just extremely happy at the moment that all overrated teams lost (USC, Cal and Notre Dame) in the end...the fanbois and media will have to wait till next year to endorse them...

I don't think there's any doubt about it really. Florida is SEC Champion, Ohio State already beat Michigan. Michigan has no real claim to be in the title game, unless they ended up as the only team with one loss. Which didn't happen.

Humans don't vote like computers, so those factors will decide it.

Are we forgetting Wisconsin who also happens to be....11-1??

I still think many voters think that Michigan is the 2nd best team in the country right NOW.

I think alot of people would agree with saying that Michigan OR OSU would crush Florida.

Wrecham and all the Michigan supporters wake the f**k and realize that you played three ranked teams. THREE! One of which was ND which was severly overated and OSU which beat them. You have played no one of merit other than ND(which is questionable) and OSU and WU and were 2-1. How can you criticize Flordia's schedule whose opponents had a .643 winning percentage (THE HIGHEST IN THE LAND)!

Give me a break, You had your shot at OSU and lost. Period, You LOST!

OSU vs UF is the only matchup that makes sense.

Perhaps the 1.85 yards per rush? 5 rushing TDs in 12 games? #1 rushing defense?

Perhaps thats why.

Perhaps cuz they have a decent offense to back up the defense?

You can play the tit for tat game ALL night.

...no, that's not quite right.

i thought this was the bowl championship series. you'd think there'd be a requirement like 'must be conference champion to play,' though i guess UNL and OU (sucks) broke that rule (OU did it just to spite Texas, i'm sure).

Uh, Wisconsin is only #7 in the BCS and will likely be #6 tomorrow.

Michigan's only loss was to the #1 team in the country. Maybe you think that doesn't matter, but the people/computers that make the decisions will consider it a factor.

Road wins against Notre Dame (crushed), Penn State (at night with 100K crazys) and their only loss was to #1 Ohio State on the road. Beat #7 Wisconsin (their only loss).

Michigan and Florida basically played the #2 and #3 most difficult schedules in the nation. To say that one or the other doesn't deserve to go is just ridiculous.

So what if Florida would have lost tonight? Then who would have deserved to play in the championship game?

I would say Michigan based on only one loss. Being SEC champion should be a big advantage for the human voters though, if Florida and Michigan both have one loss.

My comments are my opinions about how I think it will work out, not how I want it to work out. It doesn't matter a lot to me.
