I currently own a LG 34" and want to mount a 27-29in monitor right above it OR a vertical monitor, looking for something sub $300 that is VESA compatible. Is there a go to monitor as far as budget friendly but reliable. If possible display port is preferred.
Which type of panel should I get? I'd rather pay more for better quality.
This monitor will be used as a secondary, so it will be for forums/internet, and viewing of Sports/Twitch etc so I think I want to go ahead and get 2560 x 1440 no?
Or all of the extra work can be averted if I can find a nice vertical monitor, although that wouldn't work so well for video viewing. Unless, can you split the screen in half on vertical monitors? For example have a video on top (using screen real estate wisely) and internet/forums on the bottom?
