Correct. If somebody gives me less than around 1.5-2k, I won't attack them again. I will beat on somebody repeatedly if they drop anything more than that though.

yeah, sorry bout that mate.

Saw you hit me back...so I hit you back again...its just a game and I'm having fun. Don't mind if anyone attacks me, kinda cool to see where who's got what attack/defense.

*shrug*

Can you please not attack me this much grohl?

Damn, really guys, I am just moving down the list without paying attention to who I am attacking...if I get 2k or less I just keep going down the list...I will try and pay more attention.

PETS - What are the best Pets to buy? I'm lvl 71 or so and have been buying up the Mechanoids since they are the best atk and def. Not sure if something better comes along any time soon or if I should just keep buying those...

This guy has apparently maxxed out the stash (4+ Billion). "Exley", for those at level 150+..

I wish there was something else to spend my coin on. My hourly income is 2.5 million and I really don't care about gaining/losing coin in fights anymore. It used to be that I wanted to only fight be0wulfe, mord, yowzer, zeeblee, cyre, etc... and now it's all about choosing fights I can win for extra XP.

I've been buying Dogs for attack and Sandworms for defense; mechanoids are so expensive, and they're not really that much of a benefit. My current quantity items are - RPK for attack, antirad suit for def and squad suit for attack, sniper scopes for attack and defense and leftover barrel jacks for defense, and dogs/sandworms.

Madhat is the one that's hit max. People have been getting 20-30million off him on single hits, lol.

I haven't gotten anything good from yowzer--maybe more active these days. Cyre has been a great source of income for me lately--at least 2 mill per hit, and almost no defense. I haven't seen the others yet.

Hyper is in my range, but rarely seen; and defense is ~100k i think. I've only been able to attempt 3 hits, I think, all losses before dropping below 10hp

EDIT: scratch that--

"You attacked Lieutenant General Yowzer and won the fight, taking 3 damage and dealing 16 damage to your enemy. You gained 3 experience points and 4,397,747 coins."

must have confused with someone else

yeah, I was sticking to arachnids for a while, but Mechanoids are so negligible with upkeep to me now that I just go for those. I stopped at ~502 pets though, as I'm waiting to gain access to zombies, ghosts, and the Black Hole--which is still way off.

Of course, I have 74 wildcats stashed away, so I figure that's good balance. May pick up a few more demon hounds.

I keep thinking I want to waste all my energy on the arachnid king quest, though. I think I have 3 of them, and it's still a nicely balanced pet at higher levels with 9/9, 0up.

Is there a point in buying a lot of stuff if I can hold my own attacking and defending?

Or is the target list based on your offensive capabilities (i.e. if you buy a lot of offense/defense, you will face a lot tougher people = more money possibly?)??

I just don't like the idea of selling and being hit with a penalty =[

Target list is just by level.

but always get as much as you can so you win more.

more sectants leads to more equipment leads to higher attack score leads to more wins.
I'm at better than 4:1 wins vs losses

I know that we all have a habit of accidentally hitting ATOT members, simply because we just browse the attack lists without paying much attention, but if I'm hit more than 3 times in a row by an ATOT member, I'm going to start attacking back, regardless of whether or not it's a mistake. I usually don't care about getting hit. Since I stash all my cash, all it means for me is free XP, and if anything, money stolen from you. So go ahead and waste your stamina if you want.

Again, I really don't mind the random 1, 2, or 3 hits, as it's free XP, so attack away. Just don't plan on getting any money.

Has anybody else noticed a sort of 'underdog' effect lately? I'll fight somebody I should easily beat, and they'll somehow win, 2 or 3 times in a row. They'll be a lower level, less sectants, and less attacking power, yet they still win. I've noticed a lot more of that in the last couple days.

I end up playing these games for a bit then just get bored or see no point and then quit.
I hate how you're required to have certain items to do a mission, especially ones that have upkeep. I also hate how it costs money to hide your stash too.

How do you get New World Credits?

I've been putting most points into Psy and Phy, a few into attack and defense, and some into stamina. I'm a contractor, btw.

I think my attack and defense are both at 7. I have several items now also and down in the bottom of the screen, it will show like, 30 attack, 25 defense. what does this mean?

eventually, the stash cost becomes completely negligible. by level 40 or so you should be raking in enough cash to just shrug it off. I mean, I'm consistently getting hits of 20k each, and a large number of targets in my range dropping several million in one attack.

same thing with upkeep. It just becomes negligible. It is a bit strangling early on, but overcome rather quickly.

I don't know at which level, b/c it wasn't from the beginning, but at some point you get 1 NWC for each level. You can also purchase them with real money, of course.

as a contractor, you should definitely focus on stamina/attack. it's the best class, and stamina is favored. the attack/defense ratings basically show your total attack power --meaning the top attack items that will be used in an attack multiplied with your attack stat (depends on how many points you put into attack. it will get larger and larger). same with defense.

by top attack items (same with defense), I mean:
say you have 20 sectants. add yourself that = 21 sect power, or people that need to be equipped. now say you have 35 weapons. attack power will take into consideration the top 21 weapons (highest attack, as each person in your little army needs one weapon for attack), and add those only. the same goes for each item in the 4 categories: weap, armor, upgrade, pet.

consider that when you are being attacked, defense is important. your sects will then use the top items from each category with the highest defense rating first.

so, consider that you want two set in each category, for each member: the highest attack items and highest defense items.

I seem to go through cycles of that as well. damn annoying.

it's seems to be the main complaint from everyone, too. heh.

hard to get used to I guess, when in games like hackcess, you just reach one level, then you always beat whoever is below that level (by level, I mean stats).

this is more about rolls.

Yeah, I just had the worst 70-hit outing of my entire Sect career - I'm hitting people with 700 or less def with over 8k attack and yet I still manage to lose. I think out of all 70 hits, I lost maybe half of those - 90% of them had less than my attack in defense. It was the saddest hitting range ever. The worst is when I lose against someone I KNOW would give me 200k, and this happened TWICE.

Same with me. I've used up at least 160 attacks over the course of the day, and I lost a good deal of them to people with way less attack power.

Another thing I noticed - makes sense really - I have odd hours and I really cash in in the middle of the night and early in the morning with attacks. Obviously when people sleep their cash piles up...I'm good for 1M at least in my early morning round of attacks.

Just did a string of 88 attacks, and I gotta say it's been one of the best I've had yet. Killed 22 people, got about 1 mil in coins. Makes up for the total shit luck I've had lately.

I noticed that most people with about 300+ sectants aren't very strong at all. I've got about 3.6k attack, and these guys had less than 1k. Strange. Started hitting these guys, and was getting about 50k per hit.

Do you lose buildings or are they only available for a short time?

I bought 2 Sands and it says I don't have any...
they were there for a while but now they are gone.

Did you build any buildings after you bought the sand? You need the sand before you can buy a building, and once you've bought a building, it will use the sand.

You'll still have the income from them (I think), but yeah, if you buy sand and then a building, you'll have to buy more sand before you can buy another building.
