It used to strip out the ranks and excess on the Fight screen, which I liked along with auto-heal and stash funds. Instead of making sure I have funds out to heal, it automatically pulls out the necessary funds and heals me along with banking the excess

auto stash is nice! sucks when i click on deposit button and I get the "you have no coins" message..b/c some lucky sonofabitch jacked me the second i loaded the page, taking some small percentage.

the best are always being used. say yoiu have 62 total weapons and 40+1 (you) sectants. every attack will use the top 41 weapons for attack. whenever someone attacks you, the 42 top weapons for defense will be used. same with every item category; so consider stocking up on one set of market items for max attack, and another set that offers top defense.

What I'm confused on is the Attack Skill. I'm a level 21 Fighter. My sect power is 130 attack 95 defense. But for some reason I only do like 16 Damage to people when I attack them. I raise my attack skill and my sect power but still the same amount of damage. Whats up with that?

Also why doesn't your sect power go up when you raise your attack skill?

Attack vs. defense determines chance for winning only. Damage never changes, it's static.

A successful attack gives a certain variable amount of damage per attack, something like 12-17 hp, just like an unsuccessful attack causes a variable amount of damage to yourself. This has no bearing on your sect power, the only difference is the percentage of success per attack. If your combined attack number is higher than the opponent you have a higher chance of only winning that attack.

When you raise your attack skill your sect power goes up only slightly at first, the difference is more noticeable with more people in your sect (I think...)

Apparently Sectus did an update at 1:32pm today; the only reason I noticed was that at 1:33pm, all my stats were back to normal (after depleting them around 1pm). So I go to the fight page and lo and behold, EVERYONE IS HEALED : D ! I then proceed to find every 100k+ hit I could remember, spend all 130+ of my stamina (leveled up halfway through), and am now about 7-8 million richer. Delicious.

Of course, it also messed with my Sacrifice count for today - I was on track for 250+ again today.

Anyway, quick update on my stats now:

12 deaths (all self-inflicted )
sacrifices offered : 98
18561 attack
11125 defense (getting boosted soon)

They installed new upkeep and income counters on the Buildings page, too:

pseudoEDIT: over the past 20 minutes, I've noticed... a lot of glitches... good and bad. Right now the one that concerns me most is that my missions don't show at all.

Hmm, paid the 50 points to become a contractor but it didn't change me. Everything still says I'm a Psyonic. Is there some sort of delay on that?

I'd like to see some sort of auction, that way you're not forced to use energy on missions over and over again just to get a certain item for a mission. I've had to do a few different missions multiple times because of this.

Same, I had to do one mission about 15 extra times more than was necessary to get the single item I needed for another mission, what a pain in the ass

Alright, what is really the point of investing in defense? If you keep your cash account at zero and your income very low, who cares oabout attacks and death? Per zinfamous, I am maxxing all my points to attack and stamina. People can attack and kill me all they want, there isn't any cash in it ... I guess some like to turtle up and count their money...even those with a huge defense cannot survive a barrage of attacks without giving up some coin tho..

No idea why people turtle up. Great, you aren't playing the game just to build coin over time with income...

Go aggressive with stam and attack! I still can't keep up with sectants, always float around half what I have available.

I don't invest anything in defense. I just go for offense. Sure if you attack me first thing in the morning before I wake up, ou can get a tidy sum from the overnight income, but I don't worry about it.

I installed this but it doesn't seem to work. There's no instructions so how do I use it?
I have an On Auto/Off Auto option. Heal and Hide just seems to put all the money into the bank without healing me.

Any help?

It seems to be having problems since they made some changes to the site. Turn auto on, and when you click the heal button next to your health it SHOULD heal you and then bank the rest. If I am gonna be away from my computer and wanna fuck with people trying to gank my coinage, I set my page on the Sect info page and set an auto-refresh for every 5 or 10 minutes. It will auto-refresh and cause the auto-deposit to occur

EDIT: I have also reported some of the problems on the userscripts site for the script

Oh well. Sect is probably the only browser game I find fun, and it's a nice time killer during the day, so I'll stick around. The arena mode seems pretty neat, and hopefully there will be content added on a regular basis.
