I am confused, how do you play this? I did some missions and fought some dudes and bought a hospital or something. I also got a 1time use poison thing, what does it do and how do you use it? what are sectants? This game befuddles me...

The poison is required for a later mission.

Sectants are kind of like your friends/alliance in the game. The more sectants you have, the stronger you become in a fight. Your sectants help you fight. Their strength and highest powered weapon aids in when attacking.

hmmm, it does play like mafia wars, the strategy should be similar.

too bad you can't fight someone over and over again once the link is gone. the dude didn't bank his cash, and i need more for a building.

it's interesting that they limit the number of sectants by level, i was trying to get 500 at level one like mafia wars.

edit: basic strategy, hit the max sectants you're allowed to have as soon as you can, and equip everyone with a piece of gear per category. for example, if you have 20 other sectants, you need 21 of each weapon/armor/upgrade/pet. you can win majority of fights all the time.

Popular misconception....when you have sectants they will help you fight BUT use YOUR highest powered items. When you go to the market, you will see Weapons X/X....Armour X/X....Upgrades X/X....Pets X/X

First X is how many items you have available to use, second X is how many items can be used. For instance, if you show 5/20, buy 15 more of that category.

hmm, it looks, like level means nothing in this game, meaning that it is not used in combat calculation. what's important is your attack/def. A high level guy with next to no sectants can be your personal ATM.

also, i believe the best character class to have in this game is contractor for faster level up. while the landlord will probably be the worst IF money ends up being meaningless when you're at a high enough level.

The thing I hate about these games is that I hate waiting around for my stamina/stats to regenerate. It makes me sooo impatient maybe I should go do work for real.

Some tips for newbies - spend your money buying items if you can still use them. If you have nothing to buy, then stash your cash - if someone finds that you have a lot of cash and not-so-great defenses, you're gonna get all your cash pillaged deadified.

Also, the more sectants you have, the more weapons/armor/upgrades you can use, making you stronger.

Here's the easy way to explain it.

Everything you own (weapons, armor, etc) is in a big pile. When you go fight, you take the best item from each section with you to battle. If you have more Sectants in your group, each of them can also pick one of each item from YOUR stash. Then you go fight. SO the more people you have combined with the bigger your stash/pile, the higher your stats.

What do you mean by that?

If you go to the Market section, you'll notice that under each category, you'll have two numbers - x/y. Y is the maximum number of that category (say, weapons) you can use, and x is the number of weapons you currently have. When you fight someone, not only are your own personal attack and defense stats used, but also the equipment you use - and the equipment of every one of your sectants.

In other words, if you have a lot of sectants, then you don't really need to boost your attack/defense stats ever - just buy a bunch of weapons, one for each of your sectants, and have a huge attack rating.
