Here are my stats:

blink
Level 51 Contractor
194/255 sectants
+1775 income generation (lots and lots of upkeep items)
110 HP
42 stamina
90 phys
85 psy
3123 attack / 2742 defense EDIT2: oops, my attack rating may be boosted by 10% due to the Zeus bonus for today. If so, minus about 300.

1856 fights won, 408 fights lost, 191 people killed.
64 baseball bats and abandoned houses

and.... *drumroll* 2.5 million coins in the bank. What do I do with all this money?

All my deaths are from when I accidentally lose a fight with low HP. My ratio is low because I tend to go after stronger people, with more sectants. These people usually have more coins on hand, for whatever reason. I have all my items maxed out for my sectants, but only maybe half of the pets and upgrades are the best you can get. I've been only buying barrel jacks because they're the only ones that give defense, and lately I've been focused on that - I'm too paranoid that someone will attack me when I'm sleeping or something; a high defense rating usually deters people from hitting me more than once.

2.5 million in the bank? How the hell did you manage that? As soon as I get cash I buy a basebal bat or abandoned house or something...

Of course if you are Zeus you automatically get more since that's the God that has a bonus pretty much every single day...

For some reason I am not seeing the 15% penalty for stashing today. Anyone else?

I have a constant list of about 5-6 people who I can hit for anywhere from 10k to 30k a hit. I've had one guy here for over three days I'm pretty sure I've made over a million personally from just him. I'm maxed on on baseball bats and abandoned houses, have 67 antirad suits, 50 squad suits, 81 rats, 46 dogs, 24 spiders, and 50 sandworms. At one point I had a ton of income, but then I started buying all the best items of each class (which means high upkeep).

So what does everyone look for when fighting a user? In the morning I go to get 10 kills so I can get the special item. After that I've started just attacking people once and looking for someone who has a lot of cash. I don't get anything for getting more kills and my God will never be on the top of the list to get a bonus so cash seems to be the only reason to attack people.

Am I missing anything?

Yeap, that's about it. My main reasons for attacking are for money and for exp. Pound for pound, points into stamina will be better than points into phys/psy for leveling. I only kill people when I have a vendetta against them or they have a lot of money, and I just want to hit them as many times as possible. I kinda feel bad for these guys though, once I've had my sights on them they'll die constantly for as long as I can remember their name. I've personally given one dude at least 20 deaths.

Also, for those of you playing this game on firefox: does multiple tabs of Sect kill your computer too? I had to shut down my firefox because Sect was somehow draining all my CPU resources through firefox. It had been up for about three days, with a few of the tabs open the entire time. I noticed it getting laggier and laggier as I kept it open longer, and today it pretty much crapped out on me. Is this like... an FF memory leak problem? Should I try running it on Chrome?

90% of my attacks are for cash purposes. There are only 2 god bonuses that seem to be o any use....so the incentive for your God to win is pretty low, imo.

I focus my attacks on those that I know will get me 1 million or more, or well...300k+ monies in a hit. There are a good number of those in my range.

That being said, I still dump my first round of sacrifices after I have a nice pile of them. I still hold on to the unfounded delusion that number determines quality of loot.

Hell, I just unloaded about 5 million this morning in property + Kords, and still back down to 65 income.

only 9 million left in the bank at the moment.

I had about 27 million yesterday. I still have no desire to pick up a portal, I guess. Not until I have another 20million to erase the high income asap.

here it is! haha, it's a sticky, too.

not updated for the abandoned house/armored hospital...but I guess you could just substitute house for ruined building category. the cost/benefit is relatively the same, though ruined bldg is slightly better. 45 vs 50 I think.

I already have some 156 ruined bldg, so only max of 10 abandoned houses makes no difference for me

ah, and as for weapons, focus on the RPK once you have access to it. It's the best you can get for a long time. probably still the best cost/benefit or me, but I don't won't to worry about going back and replacing again and again, so I'm buying a lot of Kords, which is only 15 attack compared to 13 or RPK, and a whopping 45k/350up vs 17k/150up for RPK.

that, and the laser pistol with 5 defense, then laser rifle G3 with 9 defense (best overall for defense weapons, I think) for the defense side of weapons.

as for armor, antirad suit is pretty solid and cheap.

I look for people with a decent number of sectants, but still lower than me. I have a feeling those people aren't attacked as often, simply because of their sectants, and usually that translates into more money on hand.

Aflac: Multiple tabs works fine for me. I use 2 instances of Firefox too. I keep a window open with at least 2 Sect tabs (one to heal, one to play) on my other monitor, and I haven't had a single problem yet.

If anybody's interested, I'm just about finished writing up a small app that will go through an Excel spreadsheet and copy invite codes out of Excel and into the sectant invite code field, all at the press of a button. I just added 150+ sectants using this. I'm using Excel 2007 and Firefox, so I'm not sure how well it will work with other versions of Excel, and if you use a different browser, I'd have to slightly modify it for you.

Right now I'm going through and making it a little more fool proof. Send me a PM if you want to test it out.

If you can add me to the group I'm ZeRo_Co0L in the game.

Also wtf is this crap. Paying real money to get certain items in the game??? That's crap so there's no other way to get those items in the City Hall other than paying real money???

Yeah, but don't worry about those items. It's a free game, they need to make money somehow. As you level up, you get access to more and more items in your Market.

For some tips, read through the thread - some of us (myself, Kelemvor, zinfamous among others) have posted some pretty good things.

You get new world credits when people use your invite code to add you to their sect, and that's how you get stuff from City Hall (without using actual cash).

I'm in the habit now of always stashing after a fight. Open up another tab and keep it on the stash page, and stash between hits. I don't know how many times I lost money on multiple hits without stashing in between fights. I'm sitting on 410,000 in my stash right now. So unless you get hit by somebody that's out for kills, you're not likely to get hit more than once by the same person if they get 0 coins from you in an attack.

Don't worry about how much money you make from buildings. All that does is offset the upkeep of your items. Your big money will come from fights.

Think I'm going to have to write a little app that will automatically stash my cash and heal me every hour, for when I sleep.

Invest more in stamina than other stats, that grants more attacks. Attacks will get your more XP and money compared to missions. Don't put any points into health (is there ANY benefit?).

Buy abandoned houses and baseball bats, as much as you can. They offer the best investment since they have no upkeep.

For weapons/armor/upgrades/pets focus on their upkeep:stats ratio. Ignore initial cost for the most part.

Invite people to increase your sectants asap. Try to keep it maxed.

at a certain point, you get one NWC for each level as well. so you can certainly get most of that stuff just through leveling.

try to save up for the 3x loot box. It's quite nice.

also, buy as many baseball bats as you can.

Alright cool thanks guys.

Another question, is attacking someone random? I lose fights to guys who are lower level than me with less stats and no sectants and when I lose it's a lot of money since I'm a low rank.

Also do you keep fighting someone with the hopes that you kill them or just move onto someone else? I've won 172 fights but only killed 2.

AFAIK, I think you kind of have to get lucky with a kill. If somebody is at 12 HP, and you hit them for let's say 5 HP, it won't let you attack them again, because they're below 10 HP. But if he's at 12 HP and you hit them for 12+ HP, it will kill them. Just have to finish them off in one hit, pretty much.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works, since you can't hit somebody once they're below a certain HP.
