damage is set, actually. the only thing level or attack rating does is affect your chance of hitting, or defending an attack.

after that, a Win = 10-15 damage,
Loss = 0-5 damage. I think...it's something like that.

and there is one roll for each attack. the percentages you see are, more or less, bullshit.

It didn't annoy me too much at first, but over the previous two days, it seems that 80% of my attacks are now losses, all of my targets are showing 74-90% chance win in my favor. Ridiculous. the more I improve my attack, the worse it seems to get.

Each one of those tabs is an attack page, set to hit one person. All of these people have the potential to drop 10k+ per hit; one guy has 30-60k and I just hit a new guy for 130k. Whee! Lots of monies. I dropped over four million on buildings and weapons yesterday, two million this morning, and I have managed to get back up to 1.7m in the bank by tonight.

The one thing I still can't understand is how some people can be my level, have half the sectants, and still come up with a defense rating of 13k. How is that even possible? By now I have at least 180+ of my sectants using the best defensive items of all four categories, and still my defense rating only comes up to a little over 4k. Does a point on the attack/defense stats add more than one att/def or something?

Once you get a decent number of secants and weapons for everybody you'll be fine.

That could be a bonus your god was giving you. If the god you picked is leading in sacrifices for them, then you'll get a certain bonus type thing... like faster stamina regen, no cost to heal, and possibly no stashing penalty.

If you buy something then get the M1 or M2 or whatever version of it can you sell the regular one of it so you can get rid of it and keep the M1 or do you have to keep the regular one to get the benefits of the M1 or M2 and so on?

nah, you automatically use the best numebrs for either attack or defense, depending on situation. You might as well keep the market items, though, so as to keep all your sect dudes equipped. I only replace them when I can fully upgrade everything.

Which reminds me: I'm at max 500 sectants now, so don't no one be sending me no mo invites, ya heard?

I've been buying up all the abandoned houses I can since they have a good return. Better than any other buildings...

zinfamous, I see you on the top sacrifice board quite often, very nice.

What do the attack and defense stats do for you? Do they just add +1 or are they a multiplier to your overall power? I find it much better to put my points into stam, fight and get loads of cash, and then make sure all my sectants are pimped out in their gear.

Right now it takes me about 2 "rounds" of play to get a level. Burn through a couple missions to try for some loot, not going for all of them completed.

Then I burn through all my stam, keep track of who I get low then go back and attack them all until I kill them.

i'm going on quests, getting items, fighting people, but anything else i should buy/build?

i notice ive been losing a few fights now that I've leveled up a little...

Make sure you try to max out your sectants, and then equip them all. Each sectant adds to your attack and defense IF you have an item for them to use.

Your attack might be 15, but if you have 5 sectants and you go to the market and buy 5 weapons, armor, upgrades worth 1 att/def each, you get 15 extra att/def added to your rating.

so if i have 30 sectants, i buy 30 kitchen knives? and so on?

I got sectants from the list that's OP posted, but how do I get more? Yes I can invite my friends to play, but how do people get hundreds? do they just get random people on?

Edit: Or is it 30 items of weapons, armors, upgrades, pets (but pick the best out of them?)

Yes, 30 sectants with 30 kitchen knives will give you 30 attack.

Also, it does use a separate value for defending an attack vs being the attacker. So if you have 30 kitchen knives you get 30 attack when you fight somebody, but if you ALSO have 30 jackal knives, when you get attacked by somebody else, those count for your defense. In other words, you can have 60(or more) weapons, and your 30 sectants will use the best attack weapon for attacking and the best defense weapon for defending, etc.


There is a big list of people on the sect forums. Just copy/paste.

Each sectant gets to use 1 of each category, so 4 items total.

Is it a good idea to specialize? I feel like putting points in missions is cool, but stamina is nice to fight too. However, getting experience from both means I'm putting both on an equal level... do I gain some advantage if I keep dumping into stamina instead of missions? Or should I be the quest guy? Iono.
