I just wish there were more "go tough or go home" interviews in general. So many interviews feel like the Pol is doing the public a favor by speaking to them, and god forbid you press anyone on a topic more than 1 or 2 challenges deep. Spare no one, Liberal/Conseravtive/Democrat/Republican whoever. If you have the data and the principals to stand on your position, you should invite the challenge, not run from it.
With specific regard to Trump, there needs to be some fighting fire with fire. Trump likes to "flood the zone" so to speak and basically overwhelm with bullshit, so you can high road it like NPR and challenge with facts or you can low road it and just fire back with your own contra-positive low info talking points. NPR's method takes a ton of energy and resources, and not everyone can try pulling something like that off.
Need more people to get out there with "Nazi's, Soviets, and the PRC were/are anti-workers rights! Why are Republicans anti-worker's rights? Just asking the questions!" and start rolling a narrative. Get some young bucks to camp out on r/conservative, Parler, whatever and pick up on nacient memes before they go big to co-opt and short circuit them. How great would it be for Biden to go out there yelling "Stop The Steal!" as an argument against all the restrictive voting legislation out there at the state level? Libs would get the joke instantly, but it would "flood the zone" for conservatives and confuse their narrative.
