P.S. I'm not even going to bother seeing this. I, too, liked the first one, but the book was far better even than that. Lost World was perhaps one of the five worse movies I've ever seen. Sequels are almost never better than their predecessor--I'm not placing any bets on JP3.

The reason I liked it so much, well, it just had that something special... that magic about it. Also, it was really funny, and the humor wasn't contrived like it was in JP2... but (I thought) it was so appropriate. Also, graphics were obviously awesome. Sure the plot isn't always the best but it really was a great movie. Could have been because it was free though (wife won the tickets on 106.9 radio or something, so everyone in there was pretty happy about that). Not to mention it was jam packed and everyone was roudy and excited. All of the DJ's kinda got everyone all in a frenzy before it started.

Seriously though, I really liked part 1, hated part 2 and loved part 3.

I will tell you I am going to see it tonight. Read a plot synopsis a few weeks ago on Aintiitcool news and as far as I could tell, they are trying to make up for movie 2 sucking so badly. I read both books before seeing the movies and if you read the books, you would know how many parts they left out of both. It seems they are trying to take some of the cooler parts of both books and threw them together in this movie, so I am not surprised it seemed a bit disjointed. Still, I think it will be good.



<< OT: Anyone watch that Dinosaur show on Discovery last night. They said that the largest Dino ever (Diplatosaurous...nah, that's not it but I can't remember the name) expelled a ton of feces everyday. That's 2000lbs. of crap every day!

Suposedly there is a larger one called the Suprasaur that is even bigger. (Sorry, probably the only use of my geology degree so far I have used).

No I don't listen to any radio stations. I listen to CD's, primarily classical and symphonic. My wife and daughter do like that station though, but who am I to judge?

P.S. What's with all the grammer corrections? Because I live in Tulsa? Ok, whatever... be it known though, I grew up in Chandler, AZ. for the most part so spare the stereotyping of Tulsa people for my sake.

Yeah 106.9 sucks . I know a lot of girls that listen to it though, I personally just use CD's, radio blows, I can tell the quality difference on my car stereo (Pionner decked out ).
