Seen Jurassic Park III last night!

It was a premier here in Tulsa. Gotta say, it was great! Even awesome at times. I hated part 2 and liked part one but loved part 3!

Killer movie, I recommend it.

OT: Anyone watch that Dinosaur show on Discovery last night. They said that the largest Dino ever (Diplatosaurous...nah, that's not it but I can't remember the name) expelled a ton of feces everyday. That's 2000lbs. of crap every day!

Sorry, but konichiwa's response reminded me of that hard-to-forget fact.

It is a good movie, not quite as good as the first one.

Only thing i hated about JP3, the first 10 minutes of the movie sets up and AWESOME possible story. Think African safari with dinos, but that's not the story they give, bummer really.

The dialogue in the movie was pathetic:

The ending was a complete cop out. Complete. It was awful. It is the type of movie that makes good actors (William H. Macy, Sam Neil (sort of)) look like bad actors. The movie was completely jumbled -- there were so many scenes that had absolutely nothing to do with the plot of the movie, and were obviously added in just because the technology let them put the dinosaurs in so many scenes.

(Such as, if you've seen the movie, the &quot;fight&quot; between the two dinosaurs, and the part where the dinosaur comes up and looks at them while they're fishing through the sh*t for the satellite phone)

Blah. Blah blah blah. If you feel like you really have to see this movie, rent it. Don't waste $7+ on this.

You may have saved me more than just 7 bucks as:
1) We have to get a babysitter
2) Elita and I both go
3) We both want popcorn and drinks
4) We always go to the giant screen super cinema

So in the end a simple movie can cost me upwards of $30!

That sounds like a good deal for $30 Canadian! Here in Chicago you'd have to pay like $50 US for all that (babysitter, etc).

Yea, it appeared they were trying wayyyy too hard all through the movie to prove/show that the spino-dino was super-awesome-scary everything pees themselves when they see it. Blah, the T-Rex in JP1 had much better scenes.

There were sneak-peak showings all over the country.

I'll go see it - the problem with renting a movie like JP (any of them) is that you lose so much of why the film is entertaining if you have to watch it at home on your tv (at least, for most of us who don't have the luxury of the $15K home theater).

Even the first JP had lots of dialogue/plot problems, but hey, look at the dinos!
