Did you have Sega Channel or know old-school video games?

If you know the name of the game that was on Sega Channel that was like Qix and Jezzball but you had complete control over the cursor . I've been trying to think of it/find it for a month.

And we were your last resort skywhr? I don't have the answer, but I'm certain someone here does!

Wow, you mentioning the Sega Channel just brought back a lot of memories. I used to love reading gamepro every month and I remember reading about it and thinking it was so cool.

From what I've gathered:

There was a cable channel you could subscribe for that would deliver Sega stuff, kinda like Xbox live. You got this sega cartridge that fit in the sega genesis and it had a coax jack on it. You could download games onto it from the sega channel.

I had one of them. It was offered as part of your cable tv package. It basically just downloaded a Sega game and stored it on the cartridge, and then you could play it off the cartridge. The negatives were it was slow as molasses to download a game, so I just download 1, play it until I beat it/get sick of it, then download another one. It wasn't really practical to keep switching the games around since it took so friggin long to download them. I can't remember how long it took, but I know it seemed like forever!

edit: well I read the wikipedia article on it and it said games should only take 1 minute to download. I guess my service was hosed because it was at least half an hour or longer for me.

I wanted it really bad but we lived in the middle of nowhere and had one of those massive dishes since cable was not available

I had Sega Channel. My house was THE house to be at.

Although, after a while it got a little repetitive. How many times can I play Golden Axe and have fun? Not that many. I also never beat Comix Zone and it was on almost every month. I can't think of the game in question though, sorry.

As was the DC IMO IcebergSlim!

Most definately. They need to bring back LCD screens on controllers - great for secret information.

I loved the Sega Channel I had it for like a year and loved waking up at 630am that day of the month when they would change the games.

Kind of wish it still existed today, sob.
