I collect watches... I don't seem to be able to find this at many US retailers on the web (I found 1). I did find it at several Japanese sights. This leads me to think it's probably not a US watch. Seiko markets different watchs in the US. I have several non-US Seikos. They can be just as nice, but be aware getting service or parts for them can be quite tricky, and may cost more than the watch did originally. Even the bands may be different, so you might not even be able to get links.
BTW, this appears to be a pretty nice find. The other price I found for it was about double that. I'd buy one but it't too similar to others I have already. I just think the buyer should be aware of the potential for problems.
