Yes, I believe that the flag burning prompted some people to ask for it to be banned. I just saw two episodes that involved terrorists hijacking planes. I wondered if those would ever be banned as well. I also heard a rumor that the episode where Susan was licking envelopes and eventually died, was going to be banned when the whole anthrax scare was going around. It's all pretty silly if you ask me.

I'm not 100% sure we're thinking of the same episode, but it sounds close. The one I'm thinking of is the 2nd episode of the entire series. They stakeout a girl that Jerry met, at her work. They're going over stories of why they are there in the first place. George wants to be the architect. The first (of MANY, MANY) mention of Art Vandalay is in this episode. Funny stuff

So I started to walk into the water. I won't lie to you boys; I was terrified. But I pressed on, and as I made my way past the breakers a strange calm came over me. I don't know if it was divine intervention or the kinship of all living things, but I tell you Jerry, at that moment I was a marine biologist.

The sea was angry that day my friends. Like an old man trying to send back soup at a deli.

I got about 50 feet out and suddenly the great beast appeared before me. I tell ya he was 10 stories high if he was a foot. As if sensing my presence he let out a great bellow. I said "Easy big fella!" And then as I watching him struggling I realized something was obstructing his breathing. From where I was standing I could see directing into the eye of the great fish.

So then from out of nowhere a huge tidal wave lifted me and tossed me like a cork and I found myself right on top of him; face to face with the blowhole. I could barely see from the waves crashing down upon me but I knew something was there. So reached my hand in, felt around and pulled out the obstruction.

[George pulls a golf ball from his pocket]

What is that a Titleist? A hole in one.

The crowd must have gone wild.

Oh yes. Yes Jerry they were all over me. It was like Rocky I. Diane came up to me, put her arms around me, kissed me, we both had tears streaming down our faces. I never saw anyone so beautiful. It was at that moment I decided to tell her I was not a marine biologist.

Wow what did she say?

She told me to go to hell! And I took the bus home.



This is my favorite out of all the episodes.... I love them all but this just takes the cake for me
