This is sweet, glad I heard about this on the radio. I think this is hot since I had all my old cell phones sitting around and was able to sell my 3 old ones for 75$ .

Thy have a select list of phones which they take, They will give you on average $4.00 to $11.00 for your phone with a few newer Nokia models they will give you $50. If your really going for a profit, it would be worth going to ebay but if you just want to get rid of them..

If you have a cell phone you might wait. They've been putting this off, but sometimes next year you are SUPPOSED to be able to take your phone with the same number to any povider. The companies keep getting it put off and have been for several years, but supposedly this time is it. I heard that in Hong Kong when this happened the prices dropped significantly, because you could just leave and take your phone without having to buy another.

I think Hong Kong is diff from us. They use GSM and we use GSM, CDMA, TDMA... You can keep your old cell phone number but you may still need a new phone.

I heard them talking on the radio about it on a talk show and from what I understand you could keep your old phone. They said you wouldn't have to buy a new phone when moving to another provider. Otherwise it wouldn't hatter to most people. I don't care about keeping my numver if I still have to buy a new phone. I asked one time about keeping the same phone and just getting it transferred to their service. They said "You can't change the number and we aren't allowed to use ______ companies numbers". This is supposed to eliminate that.

dude they give u "crap" for money. I checked their listing price for motorola startac 7868 and they listed $11.00. I just sold mine for $51 on ebay /=P

At LEAST, I just checked to see what they would give me for my old 3390, $9. I can get about $50 for it on ebay.

agreed ebay is a way to get more money , but this place only requres the phone be in working ocndition, not good condition or anything else, so as long as it works. I emaile dasking what if it had a cracked case or something like that, they said if the LCD works and the phone works they dont care.
that is why I think it is pretty good.
