I was merely pointing out how much it sucks that the Rays have been phenomenal all year, yet people still wouldn't show up for games during the regular season.

My pal and I have been predicting they would turn things around over the last 3 years as they've been accumulating great young talent; and they finally did this year. Hopefully there will be no fire sell a'la Marlins....

I know. It killed me to read the attendance figures. They really need a new stadium that's near the middle of the area. The distance is the biggest reason the fans don't go there. However, if I could drive from Brandon 20+ times a year when they lost a lot, going during good times should be easy.

They have almost every one of their stars through the 09 season except for Upton. I'm guessing he'll get a new contract

Upton has 2.5 years of service time, not even close to a free agent
