I just got off the phone with Staples and I asked if i could use a coupon i forgot to use ordering online, he said he wasnt able to do that after 24hrs of placing the order. Then I tried to PM the Camera cause I used the coupons to get it to 279.00 and he told me they took that deal off the site, and it was some mistake. doh!

My order - ordered today - is still showing in my order history. A friend ordered online today, then called to enter coupon code over the phone. They canceled her order over the phone because all regions are out of stock. Think there ia any chance I will get mine?

yup just called in and asked about stock, and the csr said that the camera has been discontinued, and that there isn't any stock at staples anywhere. guess i won't be seeing my camera.

Deal DEAD- Ordered mine (although not mine anymore!) 1/03 6pm PST. Never received an email confirmation and checking order status returned the errors noted above.

Called CSR today... confirmed OOS, no alternatives other than tough darts - your order is canceled and thank you for calling saving us from calling you Monday and leaving a message on your answering machine. On the weekends they are busy with phone orders and do not make phone calls until Monday if there is a problem with order in any way.

Good luck to those ordering earlier.

Placed my order on 1/01/03 and have not received a cancellation call/email... status still shows "shipped". dunno if Staples is just being lax in letting me know about the cancellation or if i'm still golden.

p.s. my understanding (from steves-digicams.com of the DX4330 as compared to the s30 is that it's more basic; more point-n-shoot, while the s30 has more options/controls. i also wanted a CF media camera, and the DX are SD/MMC. anywho

i think most people who ordered up to 1-2 should get.
and i think there being shipped from..where staples
places there orders.thats why you see 9 days to ship..

Ouch. I ordered on the 2nd and mine is scheduled for the 9th. Oh well, with the different delivery dates it seems Staples has actually given us correct delivery information. I was hoping on receiving mine today.

SpyKey - same here. According to Staples, when the item is coming from the Distributor/Manufacturer, we can expect waiting times of up to 1-14 BUSINESS days. So "Where's My Camera, Bitches Day" is officially January 21st, since New Years Day and weekends don't count if we're speaking in terms of "Business Days."

What's ODD is that my Staples order invoice shows "Shipped." So as long as I get it, I'm fine.

For those of you showing delivery dates of the 9th, you probably just live in areas where Staples might actually have a stockpile of these cameras - good for you.

Just got some info from a customer rep. He told me that if your order got a confirmation then it most likely shipped. If you never got a confirmation then you are not going to get it and Staples is not going to restock them. The cutoff date was around the 2nd or 3rd. I ordered on the fourth.

Fortunately for me, should Staples jerk me around I have a 100 off 400 Dell code (which is now showing up as a goddamned 35 off 300 in-basket) and I could get it from them.
