I'm pretty sure his only cause is to get reelected. I've never quite figured out how so many politicians get reelected by only being on record as against specific policies but never for any. Just watching him act like a bad tempered child on the floor of the Senate makes me want to slap him. We've got our own brand of crazy in Arizona but, if it reached the level of Ted Cruz, I'd have to move.
