Yeah, arming Syrian rebels worked out so well, then abandoning the Iraqi government, the kurds, and failing to back up other countries against China's naked aggression.
There are far more things he can do besides going to war. Dangle declaring China a currency manipulator and reciprocal trade treaties and they'd clean up their act pretty quickly.

The reason the race card gets mentioned is because of the intense amount of irrationality that is present in so much of the hate from the right. And irrationality of that level, that hatred for the sake of hatred, is so very prevalent in racism as well. Many on the left have just yet to realize what I have in regards to the right. That in order to be a conservative in America you can't be a rational human being.

The gist of this thread so far is how among the many reasons why Cruz is such a groveling, myopically opportunistic, power hungry, self-centered, ideologically damaged fanatic and favorite son of the fringe whackjob loonies that adore him for who he is, no one, not even the folks from his own party is defending his actions.
But rather in true fashion, we have some folks retaliating with diversive verbiage initiated by the cerebral conflict between logically fleeing from a train wreck in progress, watching the train wreck occur with the chance of getting injured from flying insults, fighting the urge to satisfy ones sense of morbid curiosity and all this while simultaneously dealing with the fight or flee reflex.
So in that light, at least we can all agree that no one likes Ted Cruz, and we all know what a sleaze ball he is, taking into account how he consistently uses lies, manipulates the hatred emotion like Jimmy Hendrix made passionate love to his guitar and plays pander-ball of the likes that we will probably never see again in our lifetimes.

It used to be that racists were comfortable being racists and would gladly admit to being so because it was normal and acceptable to be so, but racism has at last and with great effort and suffering by the victims of racism, been properly shown to be a vicious thing. So the prejudice against Black people has changed. People hate them today, not because they are black but because they vote liberal and they voted for a liberal President. Now the effort isn't to keep them in the back of the bus, but away from the poles. So conservatives aren't the bigoted racists they once were, though there is still plenty of that everywhere among self hating folk who need somebody to feel superior too, they have simply moved their bigotry to demonize the left. It's the same self hating inferiority complex at root, but it's a waste of time trying to explain this to them. You can always tell a bigot but you can't tell him much. The conservative brain defect denies facing ego damaging truth even if the denial is dangerous to all of us. The conservative brain is too afraid to see the truth. Everywhere they are threatened by this dangerous and terrifying thing called truth so they live in terror because they know the truth is out there.
I hear you. It would be nice, just once, if anyone on the right would just admit that he is in fact a piece of shit.
