Its possible John McCain could say something. He has occasionally kicked the lunatics in the nuts. Remember when the NSA story broke? Michelle Bachmann went on a rage about how can the President order this spying, how dare he do this on his own. I think her rants went on for two days then John revealed something to the effect of everyone in Congress knows about the program and has been thoroughly briefed. One would have to be asleep or too dumb to understand if they thought otherwise.
**not direct quotes but I remember it was stated in this way**
I don't think that's correct.
IIRC, after Snowden's disclosure there were a lot of angry Congresspersons, from both sides of the aisle. A briefing of members on the intel committee (IIRC) was held.
The NSA operations are classified and most members of Congress are certainly not privy to that info. In every Congressperson was, and that would mean their staff, there would have been nothing left for Snowden to leak as it would have already happened via Congress.
