This time they won't dare bite the hand, will they? Aren't they full by now?

Sticking the olive branch up their asses would be more productive. There's one party that keeps trying to "come together" and another one that capitalizes on the attempt. For decades, at least now. Time to stop bringing a spitball straw to an artillery battle.

Another thing dems need to do is, at a minimum, end the filibuster for voting rights legislation. For crying out loud, the GOP has put forth over 100 bills nation wide to restrict voting rights.

I agree completely. The voting rights package is of the utmost importance.

Biden should give them veneer of negotiating and then push through with reconciliation. GOP already wants to gerrymander their way to the House in 2022. Democrats have nothing to gain by letting bad faith negotiations stall their agenda. If you're in danger of losing out in 2 years anyway, better to force it all through now.

I say do it just to waste their fucking time. Tell them sure you'll hear them out. Let them prepare an offer, then go public with their offer and every single way that the Dems own plan beats the shit out of it. And so as to be not total dicks, throw that group a bit of a bone by highlighting how that's still better than what the rest of the Republicans were offering.

lol i'd love to see the republicans argue against that. they'd be more twisted than a pretzel.

And hammer it home that's Democrats unifying the country while Republicans just turn into frothing racists. They already do, but keep pushing it and force Republicans to try to demonize Democrats for it. The more Republicans have to try and twist that, the more it'll reveal their racist intentions.

It's nice for a change to see the democrats (Joe Biden) adopt the philosophy of "my way or the high way". Democrats have put up with republican shit for way too long. No one cared about national debts or printing money that we never had when the Trump tax fiasco was rushed thru a republican congress. Republicans never cared about morals or doing the right thing, or... what others around the world would think about the crap Donald Trump pulled. So NOW is not the time for democrats to play the game by the rules when republicans never have. And if republicans were still in control of the government they would continue doing exactly what they are now accusing democrats of doing. Give em hell Joe.

And by the way, everyone assumed that Joe was a push over, the sleepy Joe as Donald Trump used against Joe, but I do believe we are about to find out that this dog has teeth and is not afraid to use them. After all... Joe Biden has always worked for someone else. He worked for Obama and thus had to follow the Obama rules. So we never knew the real Joe Biden. I think Joe Biden is going to shake things up for the American people like never before, doing what Donald Trump promised to do for the middle class but Trump never did beyond his lip service. I think Joe Biden is just the president that America has been waiting for.

I like it; JB leading the way taking no shit. I'm thinking he might just be one and done by design. EO tf out of everything and anything while Senate & House send up useful bills.

If VP Harris somehow became the 2024 nominee repugs would lose their minds.

Gotta hammer them. Remember what was said when they pushed Barrett through. Everything is supposed to be on the table.

Well, someone has hit the panic button over at Fox

Free speech is at risk if they take tools of voter suppression away from us.
*Existential* crisis for the GOP.

Man.

I think they gon nuke the filibuster to get shit done. I know what Biden has said. I also think Biden expected things to go back to normal. So.
