I had sent an apology note to an ex-gf of mine from way back. I'm talking 1990! I treated her like sh*t and I wanted closure I guess.

I never did get a response but it did bring closure and it made me feel good.

Do you want to renew the friendship? then a note or phone call might be in order. Otherwise, a note would only be in order if you feel like the ex-friend somehow suffered from your actions and would benefit from an explanation and apology.

i'd still try, sounds like your friend isn't in a good place right now, and needs friends. Either that or he's really pissed at you, and that bugs you, so you might as well try.

I have no expectations that renewing the friendship will happen, however, yes, I certainly would like to renew the friendship now that everything "clicked."

if you're corrected that flaw that she pointed out then i say you should def send her that apology letter telling her how she was right. send the letter...but thats my opinion. remember, in the end...you have to go with your gut feeling.
