I have a g930, I have occasional mic issue with it. People will say they can't hear me, I move the mic around, and it fixes itself, that may have accounted for a total of 1% of the total use. Bought in 2011, so after almost two years of use, there is a plastic cover at the base of the headband on either side that cracked. Wouldn't be a big deal, but it's holds the pivot point in place that attaches each ear piece to the headband. Has a two year warranty, I'm sending it in to be replaced though since it has a two year warranty, Logitech support was good, just required me to confirm my address, upload my recipe from newegg, and take a picture of the defective plastic.
The only truly annoying issue I've had is that when near a microwave it disrupts the signal, and it will automatically do an off/on cycle to try to autocorrect, which means there's a 5 second period that it turns off. But you won't find any RF headset that won't be disrupted by a microwave, so it's not the fault of the headset... I just wish it wouldn't try to reconnect and continue to receive a poor signal.
If I had to purchase a new headset right now, I would buy a new g930. With every other headset I've owned (all wired), they have broken after 4-6 months. Adding up the cost of 4+ x $25-30 headsets, it's less than what I paid for my g930 originally, but they are only $110 these days. It's worth the cost to me.
I can't comment as to the Senn RS 160, I've never used/owned it, but as for the g930, by far the best headset I've ever owned, regardless of minor microphone issues I've had every once in while. I'll probably by a one after receiving my warranty replacement once they go out of production to make sure I have one for the next -45 years.
