Sennheiser MX400 headphones

Was looking for a cheap pair of ear buds for general use with my mp3 player and I came across this on Amazon.com. Someone on the "amazon marketplace" is selling the mx400s for a penny plus 4.99 shipping. It seems legit, and he has good feedback. I ordered one earlier but it won't ship for a few more days. Seems like a good deal for anyone looking for cheap disposable headphones with decent sound.

I really wouldn't be surprised if these were legit. I have seen some portable MP3 players come with these. Also, they are just $12 normally.

Don't assume that the Sennheiser name makes them any good. I got some cheap Sennheiser earbuds once just based on the name, and I didn't like the sound of them. I much prefer the cheap Sonys. I do have a pair of nice Sennheiser HD570 headphones that sound great.

Why? These aren't great headphones. These are what iriver used to ship (re-badged) with the h1xxs and h3xxs. Good price but not so good it's unbelievable.

I have a pair of these. they cost me about $6 bucks around xmas time. I got them as filler so I could get free shipping.

Anyway they are ok, just earbuds with a nice tangle free case to carry them in. nothing special imo.

i don't understand, if the shipping is *fixed*, whats the point for the seller.

normally such a deal would be to make money off the "shipping" costs.

probably not too good to be true. i remember mx400's and 500's use to be around or under $10. i got my mx500's a few years ago for $8.
heck, i don't even know why one would bother making counterfeits of this model, it's not all that great or popular. the creative ep630/sennheiser cx300/etc are the popular ones to make knockoffs of.

i might be wrong, but from what i remember the MX400's are much better than any stock headphones that iPods came with..
