Welp i got mine yesterday and to put it in short words, they're definately a step up from the Plantronics A90.
Sound is more detailed, clean rich bass but the high could use a notch in boost, but overall much less EQ tweak needed to my taste unlike the plantronics.
Don't get me wrong the plantronics hold their ground well but these just sound better imo.
One thing to note though the cord could use a boost in roughtness they're slim compared to the one that's used in the A90 even though i already had one A90 go south on me due to the cord itself.
Thanks for the deal, well worth the $30 spent, too bad its no longer active would've bought a 2nd pair for backup.

Got mine yesterday. THey are very nice and definitely sound much better than some 6+ year old $20 Sonys I was using.


The two biggest complaints I read on the 'Egg were the thin cord and uncomfortable after long periods of use. I never use headphones for more than a couple of hours so I doubt I'll experience that problem (and 99% of headphones wiill hurt your ears after 4 hours of use) and yes the cord does seem a bit thin but its very long and as long as you don't be stupid and reef on it to unplug, then I see no problems with it. Plus if it came down to it and mine got wrecked I'm sure I could strip away the section and solder it back up. If your cord breaks there isn't much to lose at that point! So I don't see these two as issues even!

Very nice overall, I haven't tried the mic yet since I'll need an extension cable to run it to the back of my comp (since the headphone jack is plugged in to my speakers)

Got mine yesterday too. I'm very impressed. Definitely a step up from the A90's (which I was very happy with). Bass is very nice, but perhaps a bit overwhelming in music. Like DeltaQ said, this is nothing that can't be fixed by an EQ. On the other hand, they are flat-out awesome in games. I had to keep it slightly off my ears so the wife didn't complain I was ignoring her (they seal off outside noise much better than the A90s), but after she went to bed--holy cow.

Mic boost will fix that

I've had these for a while, love them, more comfy then my old Plantronics that fell apart.

got mine I ordered a few days ago today.

The headset looks great but anyone else bothered by the buzzing sound produced by the mic? It is rather loud...

When I turn off the mic, the annoying static sound dissapears.
