Hi guys,

I want your opinions. My 2 last setups had Quad GPUs in them and I used Quad Parallel and Quad Semi-Parallel bridges. My last two cards setup was back in 2010 with 2 x HD 5850 cards and I was using serial bridge.

What is your personnal opinions on those setups? Should I go serial or parallel ?
(I have two MCP 655 (D5) pumps in serial)

It probably doesn't matter all that much since the temperature of the water pretty much normalizes all throughout loop, but I've heard that serial temps (on GPUs following the first one) might be a few degrees higher than those in a parallel configuration.

I run 3-way SLI in parallel, but because I've never run serial before I honestly can't give any hard evidence.

I have no idea how SLI works, but my simple-stupid question would be whether SLI stresses (and causes heat build up) equally to both cards? If so, parallel. If it stresses one GPU more than another then serial, with input favoring the 'primary' card.

I have done both neither make any difference as the water will reach a constant temp and that's the temp the cards will be . With that said EK recommends Serial. I can say that in serial my 1080 ti cards both are the same temp, and the same is true with parallel. With Serial you get faster water flow over the gpu's. When in Parallel the water flow is reduced. So any benefit in Parallel is negated due to the flow being reduced. So it really is a wash. Pick one they both work about equal.

I went with parallel since I have many things in my loop.
