The closest I've come to enjoying them has been lambics followed distantly by Russian Stouts and Scotch. Everything else has been painful.

Not anywhere close to daily. More than 2-3 days in a row will give me a small bit of anxiety/panic-ness when I stop. Talking like a beer or two a day after a stressful day. I consider 3-4 getting pretty drunk/bad judgmenty.

I'm still on my quest to find alcohol which doesn't taste terrible.

this is why they have girly drinks, for people who don't like alcohol but want to get smashed.

On a more serious note, try some disaronno or passito, they're so sweet you can barely taste the alcohol, but they're still decent products unlike the alcohol pops that teen-agers drink.

I quit smoking and drinking two months ago.

After this post I did not drink any alcohol or cigs for the next 4 months. Circa 2/15/17 I started having light beer and made sure I was not around smokers. Gradually started having more harder drinks.. but i'm off tobacco. In winters I drink a lof of black rum almost everyday, once it gets warm I don't think about alcohol for months. Very happy and proud to quit smoking.
