I frequent P&N, and I am far from suicidal. You see, GTaudiophile, what you don't understand is that many P&N regulars are simply teenaged liberals, angry and confused at the world. The whole of their life experience can be summarized by watching an afternoon of Nickelodeon. That is why when I post in P&N, I have a single goal -- to educate. I realize that many who post there have not had the experiences that I have had. Many have not seen the world through the eyes of someone who has done what I have done. When I post, I try to cite examples and facts from my journeys to support my arguments. Sadly many posters there have lived such sheltered lives, that they cannot understand the truths I speak. Everyone knows this.

This is exactly what I was talking about. UberNeuman's inability to respond in a logical, and cohesive manner betrays both his stupidity and immaturity. I can tell that he has lived a sheltered and comfortable life. He has never experienced hardship on the scale that I have witnessed. Therefore he cannot understand the content of my posts without resorting to trivial insults and uninformed babble. Try as I may, I feel there is little I can do to educate those who choose to remain ignorant of the truth. I hope that the UberNeumans of the world are few and far between.

I'm confused by this. I am a humanitarian by nature, and during my travels I have encountered the results of ethnic cleansing and torture, but I always made it a point to understand both sides. Not everything is black and white. There are reasons beyond your comprehension that cause people to commit acts of madness against each other. I understand this part of the human psyche. I understand it far better than you ever could. That is why I say the things I do. That is why I advocate the things I do. You must come to understand these things. Only then will your eyes be opened.

I don't even go to P&N any more. Both sides in there believe they are right no matter what and won't listen to anyone else's arguments. Whether you're liberal or conservative, both are close minded and don't care what the other has to say.
