It is like Paypal. It's new and I guess they want people to try it. So you get $10 for free upon signing up and can be transferred to bank account right away. Its free $10 who doesn't want? Like I said its just like paypal. You don't have to use it.

No idea, it took a week or two for my card. I REALLY hope it takes off. AMEX has awesome customer service, so it they do anything, it should be better than paypal.

I'm still out ~$3,000 from a paypal case maybe about 5 years ago. I avoid PP by all means. :twisted:

Well, Serve has a way to go but I can say for certain that their customer service thus far is top notch! Spent a few minutes on the phone with them last night and they went above and beyond my expectations!!

Their customer service is top notch, but as far as being a competitor to paypal, they fall way short at this time.

They don't allow notes or comments in the payments on their system, the comments are only delivered via email. So if you accept multiple payments, you have no idea what those payments are for unless you keep the email and compare the notes in the email to the transaction in serve.

I created one a few days ago, got my cards yesterday. (I made an account for my mom and made a sub-account for myself)
What I really like about it, is that I have a re-loadable AmEx card with no fees and the ability to use the same account for PayPal-esque transactions. It's awesome.
