Setup a small network via virtual machines. Running Server 2008 Enterprise along with a XP Pro and Vista Ultimate clients. I installed and configured DNS and DHCP on Server 2008 as well as Active DIrectory and the server is a domain controller.

I setup a DHCP pool so my clients receive an IP address. What is happening is that my clients are getting an IP Address from my routers DHCP and not from the server. All clients are apart of my domain.

Any thoughts?

turn off router DHCP?

DHCP is broadcast based so having >1 DHCP server on a subnet will result in pretty much random results.

If I turn of DHCP on the router, then my wireless devices that are not part of my domain won't get an IP address unless I provide them static addresses.

well give them static IP's - other than that you will be using subnet masks

They don't have to be domain members to get an IP from DHCP, just on the same subnet. You need to either put the wireless router in bridge mode so they appear to be on the same subnet, or setup a second scope in the DHCP server and configure the wireless router to forward DHCP requests to the server.
