I am building a server for a local law firm where they will be using Abacus Law software. I have built the PC using this board:

I realize that I may have to contact Abacus for help with this, but I wanted to post here because I believe this is more of a networking/server issue.
After installing the software, a folder is created in the root directory from which a folder should be shared with all work station PCs. I have made this folder a shared folder and the work station PCs are all on the same domain with the server. Whenever I try to access this folder, I am prompted for a password, but the server-PC isn't password protected (yet).
Can anybody offer some guidance on what I might be doing wrong? The abacus software has a "server" installation specifically for a server PC, and the work stations must access this server to install the client files. But I cannot access this folder due to the password request.
