And that lying to the Senate thingi... No problemo, right?
And the Attorney General having a clandestine meeting on an airport tarmac with the husband of someone under federal investigation (at a crucial time within that investigation) is no problemo, right?

It's merely immaterial to the discussion at hand. Sessions swore under oath that no meetings took place. He now admits that they did. The subject matter of the discussion is also immaterial.

And as I posted earlier we know what freshman senator Sessions thought of B. Clinton "lying" under oath

I have no doubt that perjury qualifies under the Constitution as a high crime. It goes to the heart of the judicial system.”

(Although I'm not sure which part would be more upsetting to him, that crime part or the high part)

The partisanship in you is so overwhelming that you appear totally incapable of just accepting that Republicans did something much worse here.

While Lynch's meeting with Clinton was a dumb idea it was in no way illegal. Lying under oath to Congress is a felony.

Yes, by Sessions's own standards for impeachment he should be impeached. I'm going to take a wild stab and say that he's changed his mind on the issue in the intervening years, haha.

"[The White House] doesn't know the rules... the ethics rules..."

Direct quote.

Who knew that lying under oath was a felony? We can't expect Jeff to know that, I mean, he's just a lawyer & the former AG of Alabama.

And I agree. I just wish Loretta Lynch would have done the right thing as well.

I agree that Lynch never formally recused herself, and that she should have done so. However, if you look at what actually happened subsequently, it appears that she did functionally take herself out of the process. When Comey made the decision 10 days before the election to go public with unvetted evidence of new e-mails, a departure from past FBI procedure, there is no way this would have happened had Lynch had anything to say about it. The fact is, she let the FBI do whatever they deemed appropriate, which ended up being very damaging to Clinton.

Why was Franken asking Sessions about possible contact with Russian officials? One day he woke and thought to himself that he really needs to know if Sessions has meet with Russian officials?

What does that have to do with the fact that Sessions lied?

Throw that idiot on the Flynn pile; he has to go. Let's see if the repubs still consider perjury the offense they did when Bill Clinton was in office!

Sorry Sessions, but good people don't talk to Russians then lie about it. Also, go to hell you treasonous midget.
