Heh, I like the little switch hanging off the front of the rack.
Better than the spaghetti mess we had before the office move. 3 Cisco switches, located in 3 different parts of the office, cables so jumbled you couldn't tell what was what, half didn't have labels so you couldn't trace where they went. One switch was laying on it's side on the floor of a person's office by their desk. Now we have them in a rack all nice and neat. I want to take pics once I get the area all cleaned up of the junk lying around from the move.
I've unfortunately got to admit the hanging one was a recent addition of mine
We've got a real mess now; installed one of the new switches (partially) today... I'll do some before during & after pics
Any cable management advice would be welcome...
Adding 1 48 port and 1 24 port switch to
This (Along with 1 48 port and 1 24 port patch panel)...
And adding 1 48 port patch panel to another rack on another floor... and 1 more 24 port patch panel if we need it.... not sure yet if we do.
That's ~ >=150 custom length cables. Ack. Gonna try to order most of them I think (Found 'em for ~$2) and just make them for oddball cables.
