I guess I am old fashioned. Just because one can do a thing doesn't mean that one should do a thing. If I know how to cheat, steal, lie, kill -- that doesn't presume that I should do any of those.
On of the problems in our culture today is that true morals are rare. Todays generation views "morals" as mostly a matter of "convenience". Laws seem to mean "do not do it if you will get caught". Many times, morals are rationalized to what is "popular" or what are the values of the majority. Seems the views have shifted significantly into the gray over the years. There appears to be few if any absolutes.
So much for my preaching ...

Sweet! Even better than 5th place!

315 of the top 1000 were obvious cheaters. Including the top two, I think. Well, they're not the top two anymore...

Oh I agree with you, Smoke, it's unfortunate that a few bad apples could ruin the stats/rep for lots of other very legit folks.

That said, I must admit it really is nice finishing 4th in the World!
And one more thing ... "I told BBR they'd never stomp our ass." You can now put that down in stone and put it on the highest hill.

I remember the days when we were so worried about cheating and trying to keep it honest. It was almost like a witch hunt if you produced x amount of wu's in x amount of time.
I feel sorry for those teams that dealt with the cheaters as well as the extra scruntiny it caused. (Must have been wide spread more than I realized at the time seeing as so many were hit at the end). Most Crunchers are/were honest and dedicated to the project. They do not deserve to be berated for a few individuals dishonest practices.
I remember smoke (greg) having to get some cheaters blocked from his "queue" too.
I am against cheaters, but to say that S@L deserved this, I don't agree, I agree that removing the cheaters and their results was "the right thing to do", but S@N itself should not be held accountable. They have lost enough.
If we had had cheaters points removed how would we feel if another team implied we turned our blind eye to them?
You all deserve a  and 4th is a sweet place to be. I too am glad we maintained our lead over BBR lol
You Guys and Gals Rock.
