Yes, I have noticed this also. There was mention in the shout (kat) box about it this AM that these work units were taking longer to run and gave the same amount of points. They mentioned nothing else about them, so no clue what has changed to make them run longer.

I rarely look at the overall stats page:
https://www.seti-germany.de/Wow/stats_event.php?lang=en
But at the very bottom of the page, there is sort of a seismograph for bunker releases, as well as for server hiccups.

Today towards the 12:00UTC update, Yeti of RKN sent a stash of 0.7 M. (Go to https://www.seti-germany.de/Wow/stats_user_all.php?lang=en and sort by "Today" in descending order, and Yeti sticks out by being in 6th row but 61st position, and by his output today being a lot bigger than yesterday.)

Today around 19:00UTC, the SETI@home scheduler was unresponsive several times, and hence the hourly stats of many users wiggled just like the overall stats. This was straightened out by the next hourly update.

1 xii5ku 962,446,000

Almost a million Credits a day Good work

There is optimization of a system: make it perform excellent.......................and then there is the xii5ku optimization of a system: ring out every ounce of performance and make it scream with more than even the manufacturer knew it had in it. *envious*

It sounds like ads for shady website, doesn't it?
Nevertheless, kudos to xii5ku for cranking everything up to eleven even though he presumably has prolonged summer there.

@lane42, @Howdy2u2, thanks.

It looks like this rig is doing a bit over 800,000 PPD in steady state, and was pushed yesterday by catching up with some of the validation lag, due to the delay in my production that the Formula Boinc sprint introduced.

@ao_ika_red, temperatures began to go down on Friday (though Friday night was not usable for cooling purposes due to a nearby open-air event until 1AM) and are now at very comfortable levels most days. Still, the cooling capacity of open windows + building ventilation system are not quite up to the task; I continue to use a noisy window fan for additional forced exhaust of hot air.

High summer is supposedly attempting a return here between the next two FB sprints.

The hot and humid weather is back in New England for a few days. Yesterday it reached 89F and today and tomorrow it will be in the 90s. The humidity is what makes it oppressive for me.

stefanR5R, when I see the words, this rig, and, over 800,000 ppd, I think
of a motherboard with 15 1080ti hanging off of it.

Days 11...13, top fifteen teams:

SETI@home went into their weekly maintenance period shortly before 16:00 UTC. Therefore the last diagram point reflects only 3 hours of production, not 4 hours.

We are now 50,000 points away from the next team.

[H]ard|OCP finally managed to meet up with P3D.

Points per 4 hours; 3rd, 4th, and 8th team:

And one more thing — the overall stats:

At day 13 of 14, 16:00 UTC, we are now at 388 M points.
Wow!-Event 2017 finished with 443 M points.

From what I gather, credits for the same amount of computational work has gone down to roughly 85 % of the credits/ops of one year ago. So, even though current overall credits haven't reached the final credits of Wow!-Event 2017 yet, as much or more work has been accomplished by 2018's participants already.

(Last year, 830 users participated; this year: 732 users.)

This is the reason why all project admins have to step up their game massively. Because a lot of DC volunteers sacrifice, not only their money, brainpower, and electricity, but also sacrifice their life quality for the sake of science advancement.
