It can't get any closer than it got in the 1000 Workunit Blitz, folks! Race officials are still huddled over the finish line photographs taken by the 17 cameras that are positioned at the finish line at every SRL event, trying to determine who in fact will earn the right to enter the victor's lounge first. Everyone knows that being the first in the lounge is always the best, the best Oreos are always at the top of the tray, and the coldest beer is always at the front of the fridge. And of course, the hottub water is warmest for the first racer in the lounge. And the crowd goes wild as the announcement is made! It's crt1530 nosing out BigFatCow by the hairs of his chiny-chin-chin! The Hefty Heifer made it exciting in the end, galloping around the final turn, snorting loudly, gaining ground with each thundering gallop. But crt1530, with a masterful final lunge at the tape, managed to just sneak in ahead of the Big Bovine and earns the right to enter the victory lounge first. Congratulations to both crt1530 and BigFatCow.
